Our holidays have come to an end..sniff! Three glorious weeks of lazing in our house in Tomar (which has become even more beautiful in the past two years that we have been away - see picasa for pics).
We are already missing the long chats, being pampered by family, morning yoga and meditation sessions with Elma, delicious traditional dishes and bbqs, expectantly waiting to see what meal lies in store for us, prolonged discussions at the table, peaceful afternoon naps, eating daily delivered fresh bread in the early mornings outside, watching the swallows drink from the pool, dips in the cool water, reading, experimenting taking decoration magazine type photos of our house with Mama, going for walks with Lords and our nephews to build up my strength, coffee and a sweet pastry in Tomar, savouring the delights of the markets and supermarkets, music evenings with singing and dancing, watching the moon rise sipping port wine, warmed by a blanket over our legs to take the bite out of the cool chill of the evenings, card games and the closeness of having beloved family around us.
Yeah.. lots of food - I put on three kilos - it could be dangerous to move back to Portugal in the future!
