It was Mother's Day in Thailand on the 12th August (The Queen's Birthday). This particularly auspicious day also marked the beginning of the long awaited IVF treatment. Combined with the Amandio's lucky 08-08-08 birthday, the odds are in our favour, the planets are well aligned, the angels are watching over us - all those 'lucky' expressions.. If I were a gambling man... LOL! two reasons why that is a ridiculous statement to make! Besides the obvious genitalia issue (though 20,000 Baht is synonymous to an Act of God for alterations in that department in Thailand), gambling is illegal in Thailand ;-) Hmm.. my mind is wandering off track (more than usual blondy?) or is your recent hormonal injection having an effect? Right, IVF is for my next post and I am talking to myself... time to move on... fast!!

Happy Mother´s Day oh hormone-ridden one! May you have a reason made of flesh and blood to celebrate this date next year! And happy birthday Amándio! This has just got to be your luckiest twelve months coming up, considering the date of your becoming ...what, 27? Hehe, yeah right. We celebrated Rafaels first year of life here in Alcoitâo as well, on the 12th! Little chocolate cake, one tiny Tweety candle! The year was good for him - a total of 1 and a half baby aspirin consumed, no teething problems to speak of, one shortlived stomach upset, otherwise growing, giggling, chattering gibberish and trying to walk on short little stilts.Alex is enjoying a long pre-1rst grade holiday (until 15th Sep.)and António has been head-hunted for a new job which started 1rst August, and makes for a doubling of his salary (yipee!)I myself am housewifing busily, running a daytime amusement center of my untiring offspring duo.
Get in touch Sarahbobs, missing you! I´m downloading new pictures today, right now, check them out, love you, byeeee!
